This is the end of the ride.

It's been a pleasure dropping spaghetti with you people.

This has been one hell of a fandom. One that shocked the world, trolled 4chan, created headlines, survived endless drama, redefined gender expectations and changed the face of a franchise before we knew it. And it did it all while looking completely adorable.

Well, shit, it looks like I just made the same joke when the last thread was opened. I've gone into a state of monotony. I've become boring and uninteresting with nothing new to offer to the table. I guess the only thing left to do is kill myself now.

Here's a game I'm playing on Crazy Mode, which is called "Robin Steele the Waifu Thief":

It's about an alicorn OC named Robin Steele (get it? "Rob and steal?") who goes inside Canterlot Castle to battle his way to kidnap Twilight Sparkle. Easy and Normal mode are pretty easy, but Crazy Mode (based on the gif below and my experiences while playing the game) is freaking tough.

If you beat the game in Easy and Normal Mode, you get a "Bad Ending", where Twilight Sparkle teleports out of the castle, and you end up going back to where you started before. Someone actually managed to beat the game and got a "Good Ending" for the game. Here's what it looks like:

It finally happened. Blue Screen survived with his sanity (mostly) intact. The Curse of Verbose has been broken. But will the curse stay dead, or will it revive to seek a new victim? Only time will tell…

Now we await the incoming Equestria Academy, S5, and whatever cons are coming up shitstorms that will make their comfy home in the thread.


I find the distinct lack of Our Glorious Purple Overlady in this thread distressing.

Played "Robin Steele the Waifu Thief" again. Managed to beat Shining Armor, but man! He took out a huge chunk of my health! He does that annoying "shield and projectile" attack when you get too close to him or when you take out some of his health. I had to attack from a distance to take him out.

Floors 11-14 have guards spawning like crazy off-screen. I had one instance where I was in a hallway fighting some guards. More guards started to arrive, forcing me to leave the hall and evade them to reach the hallway. I had around 5-10 guards chasing me in a couple of the floors due to this.

Floor 15 had Flash Sentry surrounded by a ridiculous amount of guards. I was only able to get him to 75% of his health before I got hit by a guard and got a Game Over. Beating Flash is actually easy, but the fact that Flash flies away after you damage him for a certain amount of time and the fact you will always be dealing with AT LEAST 5-10 royal guards where Flash will reappear makes the boss incredibly tough.

Update: Yes! I finally did it! I beat Shining Armor and Flash Sentry, and got the "Good Ending" screen for "Robin Steele" game in Crazy Mode (you can only get the "Good Ending" screen in that mode). I had a total of 16 health, but only 10 when I entered the battle against Flash. Lost all but 1 health and manage to defeat Flash and find Twilight Sparkle.

Damn that game is hard. I managed to beat Shining Armor three times, but I couldn't get much farther that that. I do like how the levels are randomly generated (it is a bit weird how sometimes there's two hallways that lead to the same room, but at least the stages are different each time you play). It's unforgiving though, what with all the endless spawning enemies that surround you.

So I played Robin Steele and decided to play the game again by pressing "z" after the ending screen. This is the screen I see:

Can we kind of… Not draw attention to terrible OCs? Do that and the people who made the bad OCs win.

… In other words… Bad OCs are kind of like trolling, and in fact, may indeed be trolling all things considered.

Also… The very fact everybody seems to just be calling them OCs, seems to prove a point that Bad OCs have succeed in giving OCs as a whole a bad name.

Posting tasteful OC's to circumvent the chain.


I like to think I have good handle of what makes a good OC. Nice, non-jarring colors, creative design, fits into the MLP theme nicely or is original enough to come with its own, has opportunity for character and development, looks edible. etc etc

I like OC's because I look at them and see opportunity. OC's can have their own story with them or provide a way of bringing people closer into the fandom and community. Mine gives me a sense of real involvement in this fandom and gives me a way to be creative with it….provided of course that they are good OC's

I even prefer my R34 with OC's rather than canon characters because OC's are blank slates. Unlike with the mane 6, there's no canon or sentiments that gets in the way of whatever depiction OC's are in. They're free to be whatever they're drawn to be which makes things a lot more interesting

@Vint: "Shining Sparkle"? I wonder if the OC maker knows that's a shipping pair name for Twilight and her brother…

Nevertheless, for good OCs, I already posted my favorites but there's another that was growing on me a while back.
