Gijinka / Moe Anthropomorphism - Polar bear dad and his (adoptive) arctic fox daughter

I'm not an expert and weird stuff happen in nature all the time. But I'm pretty sure polar bears eat just about anything they can get their jaws on. The little fox is either incredibly lucky somehow or dead just after the picture.
