So I decided to open up one of these popups that chrome keeps blocking to see what I could find out.

Once I opened, it opened a "flash player" auto downloaded itself to my computer.

I'm guessing this is some of the same flash stuff people are seeing on their phones since phones generally don't block popups.
Now, coincidentally I had gotten this on the previous page I was on.

No, I did not have tubemovieshd open in another browser, but I tried to track it down and it turned out to be one of the advertisements at the bottom of the page. This ties into the previous ad because when I went to check the page source to track down that popup, tubemovieshd was listed under an iframe with a source from that http://lax1.ib.adnxs.com/(a bunch of random letters). Edit: Which seems to be the common offending domain.

Hopefully this information will help track down some of this scum ad. Hopefully.
