The profit split is absurd, 30/70 in bethesda's favor so modders don't even get that much of the total earnings. There isn't too much curation either, as indicated by the literal gun mod. From what I can tell, they're trying to recreate the minecoin shop from the bedrock edition of minecraft.
Its really unpopular with both mod users and authors alike, since it makes it so every mod, even the one that promise to be free forever, have to compete with each other as paid low quality retextures get to the top of the official store as hustlers try to minmax the situation.
