Now obviously something about this leak that is genuinely concerning and something I hate is the hackers leaked the personal information of developers working for Insomniac, which is just shitty. However my ass still can't help but want to share the stuff that's not potentially damaging to the devs livelihoods, namely we do now have a look at what Insomniac's game release schedule for potentially the next decade looks like.
First up it looks like for 2025 we'll have a standalone Venom game which sounds like it'll be to Spider-Man 2 what Miles Morales was to the 2018 Spider-Man game, a $50 shorter release.
2026 will be Wolverine, 2028 will be Spider-Man 3, 2029 will be a new Ratchet and Clank, 2030 will be an X-Men game, and a "new IP" for sometime in 2031 or 2032. Also in addition to this it looks like Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, and X-Men will have online components, with SM2 having online added in 2024, though oddly the online aspect of X-Men looks to be expected to release two years before the single player game (but that could be outdated information).
Now of course it's very likely this hack might cause a major shake up in terms of tentative dates, but yep it looks like for the next decade the majority of Insomniac's output will be Marvel focused with only a small break with a new Ratchet and Clank that I'm expecting will be released on PS6.
