Overview

Sexyy Red Sex Tape Leak refers to a leaked sex tape of American rapper Sexxy Red that was posted to her own Instagram Story in October 2023. Her Instagram was purportedly hacked and the story was quickly deleted by her. In the days following, viral reactions and reposts of the video surfaced on Twitter / X, among other websites, as memes ensued.

Background

On the night of October 4th, 2023, an explicit video was posted to Sexyy Red's Instagram Story, showing her in the missionary position with a man recording her. The video was deleted by Sexyy Red soon after, ultimately resulting in a statement from her posted to X^[1] reading, "I’m so heartbroken anybody that kno me knows I wouldn’t do no goofy sht like that 💔😢," gaining roughly 49,000 likes in less than a day (shown below).

Online Reaction

Soon after the leak, many internet users and influencers reacted to it.
