About
"Shoot Your Goo, My Dude" is a mock hentai quote associated with a panel from the manga Limit Break. Online, the phrase is often used ironically in reference to sexual intercourse.
Origin
On May 20th, 2016, Twitter user @Octopimp[1] tweeted an edited panel from page 70 of the hentai Limit Break, containing an altered speech bubble in which the female protagonist said "Shoot your goo, my dude!" (shown below). Within two years, the tweet gained more than 650 likes and 200 retweets.
Spread
On May 24th, 2016, YouTuber FrankJavCee tweeted the line.[3] On May 30th, SoundCloud user ✵KITCAT190✵ posted an audio clip of herself reading the line, which garnered more than 15,700 plays, 430 likes and 120 reposts over the next two years (shown below).
On October 3rd, YouTuber xyaro uploaded a video in which a woman can be heard reading the hentai quote (shown below, left). On April 14th, 2017, YouTuber PrimalSurge uploaded a video clip in which Overwatch players can be heard reacting to a sound clip of the quote (shown below, right).
On May 4th, Redditor anonthatslewd uploaded the Limit Break panel with the phrase "boy oh boy I love hugs" edited into the speech bubble (shown below). Prior to being archived, the post gained over 4,700 points (93% upvoted) and 115 comments on /r/anime_irl.[2]
