Stardenburdenhardenbart refers to made-up German word that has been claimed to attracting the cats around person who said it. The word gained popular in video when someone tried to attract a cat.

Origin

On July 9th, 2020, TikTok^[1] user @g.catt.eng uploaded video of himself trying to attract a cat by using several way in various languages. When he using the German word, the cat suddenly looked at him, and claimed "German always works." The video received more than 700,000 views in four years (shown below).

Spread

In years, the clip and it's audio gained popular after similar contents appeared. For example on July 12th, 2020, TikTok^[2] user @timmeowy uploaded a video mimicking @g.catt.eng's by saying "Stardenburdenhardenbart", and the cat suddenly looking to the camera. The video received more than 4.3 million views in four years (shown below, left). On September 17th, 2021, TikTok^[3] user @viralwhiskers uploaded similar video and received more than 2.5 million views in three years (shown below, right).

On February 5th, 2021, TikTok^[4] user @ejaaak15 uploaded Stitch when he tried to attract his cat by saying "Stardenburdenhardenbart" but it didn't work. The video received more than 1.5 million views in three years (shown below, left). On May 7th, 2023, TikTok^[5] user @w3r.o2 uploaded an video that received more than 15.4 million views in one year (shown below, right).
