Anonymous has been involved in activism over the years, much of it including online activity of dubious legality. In recent time, Hacktivism has become a method of choice for making their voices heard. Disrupting security systems, defacing websites, and acquiring internal information can catch the attention of huge entities like Visa and PayPal just as well as traditional sit-ins and picket lines.
